A badge holder with a Bluetooth panic button built in. Your employee's regular work ID slides into the slot on the front, so it replaces the holder they already carry instead of adding one more thing to wear. One press sends a help request with their location, with the phone still locked and in a pocket under normal conditions.

Designed for staff duress and panic alerting in a variety of settings.

Once the badge is paired there is nothing left to set up. If an employee ever needs assistance, one press of the button on the back of the badge sends a help request along with their current location.

There is no need to unlock the phone, look at a screen, or say a word out loud. Under normal conditions the badge works with the phone in a pocket, in a bag, or on a desk nearby. There is nothing for the employee to pick or confirm in the moment, because who gets notified is decided in advance by your organization rather than by them.

A press is delivered to the Castatus Crisis Manager Inbox with the employee's GPS location, so responders can see who needs help and where they are.

Repeated presses during the same incident are recognized as a single event, so responders see one clear request instead of a flood of duplicates.

The B2 Smart Badge comes with an enlarged panic button, IP66 waterproofing and a high-capacity battery that lasts up to four years depending on use, so it holds up to daily wear in the field, on a unit, or on a route.

The B2 Smart Badge is a companion to the SAFESTATUS® mobile app and pairs to an employee's phone over Bluetooth. Nothing has to be on screen when the button is pressed.

On Android, SAFESTATUS® does not need to be open at all. On iOS, Apple does not let an app receive from a paired device unless that app is running, so employees simply leave SAFESTATUS® running in the background rather than swiping it closed. Either way the phone stays locked and pocketed, and on iOS the app warns the employee when something needs their attention.

Because a badge press raises a help request, nothing changes for the people responding. Alerts arrive in the Castatus Crisis Manager Inbox with the employee's location.

That also means staff already trained on SAFESTATUS® need almost no additional training to use it.

A safety device is only reassuring if you can tell it is working. SAFESTATUS® shows whether the badge is connected and monitoring, along with its battery level and when it was last seen, so an employee can check all of it at a glance before they head out.

If someone walks away and leaves their badge behind, the phone in their pocket tells them as soon as Bluetooth drops out of range. Nobody finds out the hard way that the two were separated.

SAFESTATUS® reconnects to the badge on its own the moment they are back within range. There is nothing to re-pair, nothing to switch back on, and nothing for the employee to remember.

Who receives an alert is yours to define. A manager can be notified only for the staff they are responsible for, while an administrator sees the whole enterprise. For an organization with many branches, clinics, or offices, that means a press reaches the people close enough to actually do something about it, without every location hearing about every incident.

Those people can also turn on Critical Alerts, which give Castatus notifications AMBER Alert style delivery. Even if their phone is silenced or set to Do Not Disturb, they still get an audible alert, and it has to be cleared by hand rather than sliding off the lock screen on its own.

A wearable button matters most where getting to a phone would take too long, would be noticed, or simply is not possible.
